Standard Chartered Bank is a merger of the Standard Bank of British South Africa and the Chartered Bank of India, Australia and China. These banks had capitalised on the expansion of trade between Europe, Asia and Africa. The icon has two alphabets S (from Standard Bank of British South Africa) , C (from Chartered Bank of India, Australia and China) colored in Blue and Green which are bordered in white color and have faded shades behind the Alphabets.
